- The National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of Armed Forces with its Headquarters at New Delhi, Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis. National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Wing, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. NCC is the largest uniformed youth organization. Its motto is ‘Unity and Discipline’. In living up to its motto, the NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing Welcome from different parts of the country and moulding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of the nation.
- NCC has been started in the year 2005 in Kendriya Vidyalaya RRC, Fatehgarh. The main motive of introducing NCC in the vidyalaya is to create leadership qualities, develop mental strength and to bring confidence and enhance willpower in our students.
- Kendriya Vidyalaya RRC, Fatehgarh NCC (Army Wing ) Junior Division Troops are under the command of 4 and 12 U.P Battalion. 4 UP battalion is only for girls of class VIII and IX. 12 UP battalion troop have both Girls & Boys. In 2024-25 session, 50 cadets are enrolled in each battalion unit. They under go training for two consecutive years, thereafter they will be entitled for achieving A Certificate after the assessment. Cadets are given regular training twice a week besides their participation in various camps like TSC ,CATC,IUC, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat and other centrally organised activities.
