Guidance, in simple terms means, to direct or provide assistance to someone who needs help. Counselling refers to professional services provided to an individual who is facing a problem and needs help to overcome the problem. Guidance and counseling services play a crucial role in schools like KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) by providing students with support, direction, and resources to navigate academic, personal, and social challenges.

In PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya RRC, Fatehgarh the following steps are taken for Guidance & Counseling-

• Counselor and Special Educators are appointed to guide students for Counseling and carrier options.
• A Psychometric Test is conducted by the professional agency and online experts talks are provided during sessions.
• TARUNOTSAV PROGRAME is arranged to guide students of Class X to opt the stream and subjects in class XI.
• Adolescence Education Programs are conducted every year.
• Special Educators are engaged to guide/help CWSN students &their parents to improve their learning skills.
